Exams and Recent Work

The two most exciting things to happen are that (a) I passed my Grade 4 AMEB Cello exam a few weeks ago, and (b) I passed my TOGAF 9.2 certification exam the other day. The Azure and Architecture Certifications project page has been updated with my new badge. The cello exam certainly ended up being a bit stressful. First of all, my teacher of 2 years has developed a shoulder injury and could no longer teach from November, so I had to find someone new....

Thoughts for 2022

Some of my thoughts for 2022 and what I want to get done: If I aim for a cello grade each year, my grade four exam will be coming up in May. Cello First

I picked up the cello in November 2019. I’d been thinking about it for a long time, and, inspired by the Piano Guys, finally bit the bullet. Plan of attack My immediate goal is to be good enough to play at our church Christmas carols this year, but I haven’t been only practicing carols. I purchased Essential Elements for Strings: Cello (Book 1) when I started, and have simply been working through the exercises and watching a few videos to help with technique....
